President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said that there was no starvation in Ghana during the Covid pandemic attributable to the prudent estimates his administration took in the initial term in the agribusiness area of the local economy.

These activities, he said, turned away food shortage in the country at a time the borders were shut during the COVID-19.

“Food resilience has been tested over the past few years. The closure of the borders meant we have had to rely on what we produce” he said.
